Calcium and minerals - Part 1

When it comes to nutrition, most people are concerned about vitamins and minerals. However, most people, even if their diet is rich in calcium and minerals, do not benefit from it. The problem is that most people’s bodies can not use the minerals and calcium they consume. There is no point in taking calcium and minerals before you enable your body to use them fully.

Another dead end is focusing on supplements. Minerals and vitamins in isolated form (as in the case of food supplements) are not natural to our bodies. As a result, they act as stimulants and blockers, and can even make things worse if they are not used up by the body. For example, if you take isolated calcium and your parathyroid gland is not working properly and does not produce parathyroid hormone (the hormone that helps the body use calcium), it can weaken your connective tissues and bones, especially if you have acidosis (increased blood acidity). In these cases, the body will take calcium from other parts of the body to protect itself from the acid, because calcium is the basis.

When you bring up a diet that is based on fruit and raw foods, most people will stress the importance of protein and claim that this diet does not contain enough minerals and calcium. Many foods contain these substances, for example fresh dates.

A diet based on raw fruit will provide calcium and all the necessary minerals, but we need to allow the body to improve the functioning of the endocrine glands, which are responsible for their use.
