Do we need greens?

When it comes to detoxifying and removing acids from the lymphatic system, greens slow down the process. Therefore, if your body is highly acidic and you have chronic health problems, you should refrain from greens if you want to improve kidney function and stimulate filtration.

I am not suggesting that anyone switches from a classical Western diet (based on meat, dairy, processed foods, cereals, fried foods, etc.) to a diet based exclusively on fruit. For detoxification, it is better to switch gradually. Humans should eat fruit because our anatomy and physiognomy are those of other frugivores (literally – fruit-eaters), and not those of herbivores. Our stomach is not divided into several compartments and we do not have teeth for rumination like herbivores.

So if our anatomy and physiognomy were not designed for greens, it means that we do not need greens. Nevertheless, I would recommend medicinal plants. Medicinal plants are considered vegetables, but in reality they are vegetables that help to detoxify the body and activate the lymph. Detoxification and cleansing of the organism are essential, and medicinal plants help with this. You will still need greens for balance, but not for detoxification. The use of soft leafy greens is preferable as the diet of such greens is alkaline (basic), has anti-parasitic properties and does not cause mucus, thus not causing health problems. However, greens are not necessary in one’s diet.
